Qualifications-

We work with several different types of systems including Refrigeration, Heating, Plumbing, Foodservice and many more! there is a lot to learn here, and if you have experience in our field of work, that is even better! We are looking for people that are at least EPA section 608 type 2 certified. the law requires our technicians to hold this certification to work on the class of equipment we service. Our technicians also need to be technologically savvy and capable of electrical troubleshooting. Be sure to inform us of any other certifications you hold! many other things could benefit the team such as metalworking or advanced electrical control!

 Temperament and Ethics-

Here at Wolfe Refrigeration, we select our new employees largely based on character. There are many challenges that an HVACR Technician will face every day. It takes a patient person with a growth-based mindset to succeed. We value loyalty, honesty, integrity, humility, and respect. We like to keep ethical conduct in mind with every interaction. If this sounds like you, you will have no issue fitting in here!

Physical Capability-

Our men and women in the field have to be physically capable to work in a construction job site. It is not uncommon to need to lift heavy materials, equipment, and tools on an install or repair. often we assemble large coolers and freezers with very heavy panels. (sometimes needing multiple people to lift safely!) not to mention rooftop repairs where you may need to use a rope to hoist something like a nitrogen tank to the refrigeration unit safely! Good stamina, strength, and endurance are definitely beneficial in our great line of work! (Good thing the full-time employees here get the complimentary benefit of a gym membership!)

What it’s like to work for Wolfe Refrigeration-

As an HVACR company, our favorite part of the day is the visible relief we can bring to our customer’s faces. It just feels right when you know you have helped someone keep their business running for another night that could have ended in disaster! The foodservice industry can be unforgiving, and our customers face large amounts of risk when it comes to product loss due to equipment failure. That’s where we come in! An honest, fast, and reliable HVACR company that can provide them with The right equipment, service, and preventative maintenance to keep the product cold, the grills hot, and the atmosphere just right! This being said, we need to be on our toes and ready as a team to respond when our duties call! That is why our schedule is subject to change at any given time. the day rarely turns out the way we think it will! Technicians need to be adaptable and fast thinking to succeed. The HVACR technicians here at Wolfe take turns being on-call week to week. Currently, a technician needs to be prepared to be on-call for one week every six weeks. This is how we can offer emergency service 24/7! A service technician has a very fast-paced job. You get to see new things and solve different mechanical puzzles every day! The company environment is very positive. Many other employees are very knowledgeable and happy to help any time one of us has an issue! we are only as strong as our weakest link so we do the best we can to keep each other strong and work out any issues we may encounter. We take pride in our teamwork and we know you will too!
